The 17th Mathematics of Networks meeting (MoN17) will take place at the University of Sheffield on Thursday 20th September 2018. The theme for this meeting is Energy Efficiency in Communications Networks. MoN17 is sponsored by commnet2 and is held in conjunction with Next-GWiN 2018 the 5th International Workshop on Next Generation Green Wireless Networks, Sheffield University 17th-18th September 2018.

Speaking at or attending Mathematics of Networks

Presentations on any aspect of networking are welcomed, particularly if the techniques or conclusions are applicable in other networking disciplines. The theme of this MoN is energy efficiency in communications networks. Talks on any topic can be suggested, but those related to the theme will be preferred. If you would like to present a talk at MoN17, please submit a title and an abstract of 200 to 300 words by email to Keith Briggs and Richard Clegg, deadline Thursday 16th August.

Attendance at MoN is always free of cost. Registration is necessary to allow us to estimate catering numbers. Please register through eventbrite.

MoN is an informal series of meetings that has now been running since 2003. The series encourages interdisciplinary communication in networking research. It is an excellent venue for presenting new ideas or gaining a wider audience for established research.
